I was grievance chair for the Wright Chapter from Fall of 1988 thru Spring of 2003. The grievance chair is responsible for helping members of our Union protect their rights under the contract between the union and the board of
trustees of the college district. I was the one who originally set up the the web site for local 1600. Back in 2004 I worked with a campaign to change the leadership in Local 1600. Although most of our slate was not elected - we felt that we had successfully changed the way the local did business. |
